Kent's journey in the softball scene began in 2017, reentering after a decade of coaching experience. His years of coaching both travel and high school softball laid a strong foundation for his return. Initially, Kent worked alongside other instructors for three years, dedicating himself to refining his skills and expanding his client base. In 2019, he made the pivotal decision to establish Carter Hitting, marking the commencement of his independent venture.

Upon branching out on his own, Kent enlisted Leah to provide valuable assistance during lessons – whether it entailed tee work, drill demonstrations, or swing analysis. The year 2021 proved to be significant as Kent's clientele surpassed all expectations, a testament to his expertise and dedication.

Grateful for the growth, it was decided that Leah would start taking on her own clients. Leah's journey in softball began at just 4 years old. Through dedicated training at Champions Edge, she honed her skills and excelled in the sport through travel, high school, and college. Now, Leah offers hitting and catching lessons from Monday through Thursday to share her expertise and nurture the development of aspiring athletes.

Presently, Kent and Leah can be found at Champions Edge every week, working in tandem to empower players and enhance their hitting skills. Their collaborative efforts exemplify a shared commitment to helping individuals excel in softball, fostering a supportive and enriching learning environment for all.
